Are cafes and restaurants open on labor day?

Yes they are. Since it is a holiday, they expect to do a big business on Labor Day. I know we will eat out today as will millions of travelers on their way home from vacation.

Many restaurants are open during holidays while other businesses are closed. They still want to provide a place to eat for those that don't BBQ today. ;-)
This is the last traveling holiday before many schools start so restaurants expect returning travelers and carry outs too.

Yes most restaurants will be open. Especially fast food places near highways.

In the restuarant business its a big day.No ones working, families getting together. A big money making day
