Family first.

My friend, a family is the whole world. Careers are important, but family should be the most important thing in one life. I am part native-american and to us a family is whole, not just an emity or because of their spiritual background. A family is whole as one, divided we fall. As each circle of life their is a beginning and an ending. When one passes on-another fills the circle and so goes the Circle Of Life. Many times one prefers their career over family and so the circle can be broken quickly. One journeys and travels, gains wisdom, knowledge, and experiance. A family together can be the strongest in love, marriage, and happiness. A family is the pillar of society and thus one teaches their siblings the best they can. You may have a special trade-such as, carpenter, planner, gardener, landscaper, technician, etc. The best thing is when you can teach your child the many trades that are their and still cement the family mode in he/she so that when their time comes they can also do the same to their offspring. One teaches family values as best they can. For to ingrain the family first-other things second, family must be centered and the top of the list. Although in some conditions that will never play true. The more knowledge and wisdom you gain in life the more wiser the answers. Family by all means comes first! The family should always have the front seat.Today in this fast pace of computors and technology-we get lost in trying to get that "Almighty Dollar" and forget our family values. Thus comes the hard times and then both have to work to keep above water-but NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, FORGET YOUR FAMILY! Family is the garden and spice of life. Without family-your lost, without love and trust, your done....

I'm an Indian not from India but from the west indies and the culture is basically the same... family comes first but I understand what you mean . Sometimes the traditions of our culture prevent one from pursuing the careers that we want and you feel abit trap cause you love your family but you don't want to defile them by pursuing a career that isn't what they may approve. from experience you've got to follow your dreams but do it in a way that they understand why a particular career may mean more to you. It will be tough but after a while they'll see how committed and serious you are.

hope that answers your question

Basically, in all countries family is very important, except for a few strange people who step out of the norm. Career is also important. More so to men because men get their identity from their jobs and women get their identity from their homes. Balance it the secret.

Family is always the first.. It is in the family where you get to choose what career you want..
And career can always change overtime,,
Career can change by global influence, such as war, typhone, and other natural and manmade calamity.
Whatever happens to your life here and beyond your control, family is always there during hard times. and all the time

Depends on which family you are talking about. there are two types:
1. that where you are the supporter and
2. that where you are dependent.
If yo´r referring to the first one, it´s the most important , and you should think it very well,
if yo´r alluding to the second one, Go ahead ! Pursue your goals !
