I know for a fact that most are from China. The chickens, and even ducks in Guangdong are some of the top quality I have seen in years. I know this because I bought shares in the chicken and duck market.

I was working for Samba and we did a site visit to a cold storage facility in Jeddah. It was FULL of frozen chickens from Brazil. Al Baik will just buy them where it gets the best price. So that time it was Brazil, but exchange rates, delivery times and quality can all go into the ordering of the chickens and it is unlikely that there will ever be a single source for long.
I prefer the Al Baik shrimp meal. The Homus is ok, but not great. The fries are good enough. Better load up before Ramadan comes.
