I was lucky enough to find a half decent job soon after i got out and have not been involved in any of that sh**e since,6 months ago i met a fantastic woman and i told her everything soon after luckily she was cool about it but her parents are coming over from france soon and her dad wants me to taake him to match her but i'm f***ing banned from every ground in britian till 2012 how the f**k do i tell him that??

Nightmare mate....

1) 'Fess up. Admit what you did (not 4 times though) and say that you totally regret it. You could say it was self defence or something.

2) Go to your local non-league ground and tell him that you prefer the "real thing" rather than that commercialised pap in the higher leagues. (unless you're banned there too...)

3) Take him to the Cricket/Rugby.

4) Take him to a pub "pre-match", get him drunk and "forget" about the match.

Seems to me it may come up in conversation with the daughter. He is going to give you the twice over and if he is at all skilled in reading people, he will pick up on your vibes. With four arrests for the "same thing," your g.f. is a fool to stick around. You don't seem to feel bad about what you did and that does not suggest you have solved the anger, etc. that led to the arrests. If it happened once you could tell him and get on with it. Four time? I doubt the g.f. knows it was four times. No chance winning over the parents. She will be on next plane to France.
Anyway, I think your question is a phony one but good imagination dude.

Well you don't tell him - not yet anyway. And you certainly don't try to get in anywhere because that could all end horribly!! Instead you should scrap the whole football idea and find something else to do. You could watch football in the pub maybe or why don't you suggest doing something as a group like going out for a meal.

Just set him down and explain that you are very into football but have a very loose cannon temper when your team looses so you got into trouble and will not be able to take him to any games until 2012 you have been taking anger management classes for it. It seems to be the only thing in your life that really peaks your temper. He'll understand if he knows anything at all about football.

Plan something equally as fabulous (your girlfriend should be able to tell you something else he really wants to do), make sure you've already bought tickets and planned out the entire thing as a surprise. It would be rude for him to try and change the plans. This way, you will be able to get to know him a bit in person. Then, if the relationship goes anywhere, you can tell him later once there is mutual respect. If they are visiting for more than a couple days and you can't weasel your way out of it, play sick.

Oh dear. Why not say you don't like being in the middle of huge crowds - claustrophobia or something?? What does your girlfriend think you should say? She'll know what kind of reaction you'd get (good or bad) from her parents, so she's probably the best person for advice. You can't really fake an ill-turn on the day as he'd be disappointed.

Oh dear, you are in a fix. I think you should discuss with your girlfriend how you should play it. She knows her folks better than anyone. You could either come clean and tell them about your past mistakes, or just pretend you hate football and suggest your girlfriend and her Dad go to the match together for some father-daughter bonding. Hey, you could offer to take her Mum shopping instead...

Rubbish, what a nightmare. Speak to your girlfriend and tell her that you are going to make up a huge excuse like you had a bad experience in a football crowd and you don't feel like you could go back. Or tell the dad the truth and explain you have changed your ways, maybe he could go with a friend or family member of yours when he is here? Tell him you are not proud of yourself but wanted to tell him the truth. Upshot is, big fairytale or big truth.

Tell him that you are not sure how to say this but, i am in love with your daughter. A while back when i was in my troubled stage i tested my limits and got into a great deal of trouble. Explain to him what had happened and tell them that you apoligize for the inconvenience and tell them that u must wait until 2012

Take him to golf instead or a cricket match or motor racing ask your girl what are his likes other than football or just tell him the truth and say that you are a changed person
