A responsible person who had you sign the form at the post office, or wherever you got it should have ask you to ensure that all the information is valid, and that there are no misspellings. If you signed, they may ask you to pay for a new passport again. Check it out. Good luck!

yes, you have to go passport office have it corrected as soon as possible. bring with you your original/authenticated documents like birth certificate. The passport office made a mistake they misspelled your name. Do it as early as possible. Good luck.

You have to get it fixed, or the airlines won't let you travel, unless you book your ticket with the same mispelling.
But, you would still get stopped in immigration.
Take the passport back to where you got it issued, show all your proof agin (birth cert., marraige cert. etc) and they should issue a new one, no charge.
