I know that God is real! He has done so many things for me. I thank Him that He sent Jesus to save me from my sins. I want to thank you for having the guts to declare your faith. So many people do not. Jesus said that if we aren't ashamed to profess Him before man, neither will He be ashamed to profess us before His Father in Heaven. I look forward to seeing you there some day. As for the ones who do not believe, I pray that something will touch your hearts and lives before it is too late. I have lived without God and I thought I was ok. Now I know different and I hope I never go back there again. I was empty and didn't even realize it. I am not trying to force religion on anyone. I just want everyone to experience the peace and joy that He has given me.

A great many people believe that there is no god because there is no observable, verifiable evidence to support the idea.

If one starts with the belief that there is a god, and bases one's life upon that belief, it is difficult to imagine a mindset that does not include the belief. Notice even in your own post that you assume that there must have been a "who" responsible for the creation of man.

I would suggest that you read Jamie Whyte's "Crimes Against Logic," and Eric Hoffer's "The True Believer" if you want to get a sense of how people arrive at the notion of atheism or agnosticism.

The only place I find God is in nature. It isn't only species called man that makes me believe in a powerful force at work. But all species that inhabit the earth from the amoeba to the dinosaurs. Randomness doesn't explain to me the diversity of life to be found here. I do not find God within any religion. It is just man's way of explaining something, that serves his particular interests at the time the word was written. A way to be top dog in a world that makes one feel so small and helpless.

You sure jump to a lot of conclusions.

"If there's no God then who created man?" First of al, you're not merely assuming there is a God, but that that God is Yahweh. How do you know that the REAL God isn't Brahman? or Ahura-Mazda? Or The Great Spirit?

If you cna't understand why people don't believe in Jesus, the real question here is, Why do you? Because that's how you were brainwashed? I fully understand it when people don't believe in unproved claims like Jesus.

I have done plenty of study-- you clearly have not-- and I have concluded that JESUS NEVER EXISTED! So you might get an idea of why I don't believe in him. If you want a better understandign of how I can conclude such a thing, I suggest you read "The Jesus Mysteries" by Timothy Freke & Peter Gandy. But, if you're like most cowardly Christians, you won't even bother.

How is it that you do not understand that people will not believe? If you are a Christian and you read your bible you should understand that the power to choose to believe in Christ also includes the power to reject Him. The bible clearly states that people choose to love darkness because their deeds are evil. Its not a matter of not being able to believe its a matter of their free will choice to prefer their own deeds. They do not want to follow a system of religion that has a standard of behavior for which they will be held accountable to. Wide is the gate that leads to destruction and many are they that enter therein. Narrow is the way that leads to eternal life and few ther be that enter. Lucifer told Eve that there was an evil intent on the part of God in forbidding them from eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and He uses the same tactic today in making people believe that they can be gods unto themselves. When your life is about yourself that is exactly what you want to hear and believe.

Does it have to be a God who created man before you believe in Jesus. If there is a God who does not create man, do you still believe in Him/God? Is a non-creating God not to be believed? What if there were no God, and now yet you exist, what then? Were you not born of parents? Can a dog then give birth to you?

Importantly, if God could simply let those who do not believe in Him go to hell for eternity, do you think that God is all compassionate. Would you believe and follow him still? Would you want to be a slave to Him who wants you to be slave and serve him for eternity?

Such things and matters, one should contemplate!
Take care.

Yeah I believe in God too, but Jesus is not God, he is just a prophet..

Remember nor Moses nor Abraham worshiped Jesus...??

Read history again:

God talks to Moses and he says worship only me, and dont associate me with nothing: destroy ur idols.

Moses come down from the mountain carryin the ten commandments with him and tell the people: dont worship no one but God.

People follows this sometimes, they got their freedom and go searchin the promise land. In some point of the way "changed" the original message and believe they are the choosen people, and they think God is only for them.

Jesus comes along, God doesnt speak directly to him, but still he was inspired with a message that pretends to "correct" the biased jewish thinking and then he says to the jews: hey we are wrong, this religions belongs to everyone in this earth and in this universe, God is love for all and we shall not take advantage on people´s needs, so we should not charge interests when we gives loans.

Jews get up set to Jesus, becoz he is an economical and political threat. They killed them. Jesus dont leave no written testimony nor message: the message starts to be changed and then people starts to say Jesus is Son of God. So once again the original message was adultered.

Constantino converts to Christianity coz in order to unify his empire he needs a common belief. He choses the gospels he wants and he (with the Church) invents the concept of the Holy Trinity that also fits and suits with the geological model they used to understand the universe and which was given by Ptolemy, the greek. SO, as they believe earth was the center of the universe, saying Jesus as human, is part of the divinity matches and make sense with this antropocentrical perception of the universe.

Of course the Galileo came and he was victim of the catholic Church becoz of his findings were also a threat. Any way...
6 centuries later (of Jesus) ...Mohamed came along, Gabriel de Arcangel spoke to him and told him: u have to go out and "correct" the message, people missunderstad Jesus who was a prophet of God and now they are worshiping him as if they were God...so pls go out and tell the world they have to come to the right path again and worship only Him...so Mohamed did.

So this is why in Sura Fatiha (the first of the Quran) there is this recitation that among other things say "show us the straight path, dont let us follow the path that followed those who earned ur anger (the jews) nor the path that followed those who strayed (Christians)

So this is why muslims knows that Moses and Jesus and Abraham were the first muslims on earth. It doesnt have to do with Mohamed, it has to do with the fact that they worship only God and they didnt praised Jesus. Their feith were authentic, they were real monotheists.

So after studying this an other sources u come to the point where everything makes sense and sometimes, happens like it happens to me: I adopted the religion.

U can read a german author : Dietrich Schwanitz, the name of the book might be in english something like "the culture, everything that is to be known"...coz I actually read the spanish version...but that is a fantastic book.

Well, Jews believe in God, but not Jesus. All the Jews I know (including myself) are happy and full of peace and contentment with their religion. And since in Judaism, the concept of hell is so very different than the Christian concept, I know I cannot go to a place that doesn't exist to me. I know that just as much as you know what you do. You cannot make statements about other people's lives...You don't know what it's like to be me.

This stuff all happens after we die. How can we "live through hell" if we are dead?
We are fine. We don't need to be saved. Nothing here is so bad that we need to be saved.
Hell is a fairytale. It's so absurd that it is comical. When are you going to be rational and realistic and look at these things objectively? YOu can't even see reality because you have shrouded it over with your religion.
There is nothing wrong with that. You can do whatever you want, but there is a differernce between what is real and what is not real.
Religion relies on people believing what is not real.
