You are right - some people DO hate Him and blame Him for things that their own poor choices or evil forces have caused in their lives -- instead of turning to Him for help, comfort, guidance... we all do it (sadly enough) from time to time though.

I don't hate God, far from it; but I can see how people get caught up in that. God is blamed for all sorts of atrocities. Children who are abused by the Dad have all kinds of problems with calling God "Our Father." Natural disasters are blamed on God all the time. So it doesn't surprise me that people "hate" God.

I don't believe that anyone of a sound mind hates God. For me, I don't hate anyone, just a strong contempt for those fake TV preachers who sit in judgement of others in the name of their false gods.

I don't recollect encountering anybody who 'hates' god. I've encountered a lot of people who don't 'believe' in him. Is that the same thing, in your mind?

It's not what he's done, but rather what he hasn't done. He's a lazy, vacillating, piece of indifference. Why hasn't he done anything to help heal the world? If he's all powerful, surely he should have done SOMETHING to help us out by now.
