I used this: http://www.zapfrench.com/ When i was learning. Its a basic down to earth easy website. You can also go to www.altavista.com and there is a translating service on there. Its pretty literal -- but if she was confused with verb conjugations, etc, then she could plug it in there and it woudl translate it for her, at least so she could understand it. Also, there are books like "french the easy way" that are really helpful. Although I majored in Spanish in college -- that series was the backbone to my studies. I learned French for fun on the side -- but also make sure she has a good dictionary. I would recommend anything by VOX -- they seem to be the best at what they do. There are also the Langenshiets? (i don't know if i spelled that right) but in the book stores they usually are yellow covering (kinda plastic) with big "L" s on them. Hope this helps!

Go to www.learner.org. Sign up as a student (it's all totally free) and, under foreign language, select French. Then select your episode, click and watch. You can also read the episode transcripts so you can read what the actors are saying.

You might have to download the media software if it's not already on your computer, but that is also free.
