If engine oil accidently got splurted to rotor and brake pad, how do you clean it out? Will engine cleaner spay do it or do I need something else? I would not want slippery brake.

You can use brake cleaner spray to clean the rotor, but should probably replace the pads. They're cheap enough and easy to replace on most vehicles. If the pads absorb any oil they will never work properly and must be replaced.

I agree with these guys but would add that I would take the wheel off first and clean the back of the wheel with hot soapy water, then do the spraying on the rotor, then replace the wheel.

How do you accidentally spurt oil onto a rotor- ah well, better not ask!
