You can erase the emotional charge of a bad memory but the memory is still there. Then you can find new happy memories..
Erasing the emotional charge depends upon you

You can't completely erase them. Concentrate on the here and now, who you are at this moment and what you are doing with your life. You can waste a lot of precious time wallowing in things past, it doesn't do a bid of good and doesn't solve anything. If your life isn't going well, it's time to go to work and make some changes, set short term goals, find things that interest you to keep you busy in your spare time. Spend time with healthy sober people. Life is too short to live in the past and worry about things you can't change, take things a day at a time and enjoy them.

I am not sure what you mean by "bad things", but if you are a trauma survivor, I would highly recommend finding a therapist who specializes in the treatment of trauma. When someone has experienced a lot of trauma, their central nervous system is constantly activated. It can be difficult to regulate emotions, and they may feel anxious and unsafe much of the time. There are various techniques that a trauma specialist can use to help discharge some of that stored traumatic energy (that lives in the body). Such techniques include EMDR http://www.traumahealing.com/registry.html and Somatic Experiencing http://www.traumahealing.com/registry.html

Remember, if YOU feel that something is wrong, TRUST that, and get help. If this does sound like you, I hope you do seek the help and support you deserve. If so, you are welcome to contact me and I will help you locate a trauma therapist in your area.

Good luck!

you can't. your bad memories will never fog, they will only etch themselves more and more indelibly in your conscience. when you are old and alone, the pain caused by the horrible things you've been a part of will be as real as the chair you sit on, but more vividly seen in your mind's eye.

so try to stop doing bad things now, and apologize for the bad stuff, and freely forgive people.

unfortunately, you cant. and unfortunately too, bad memories seems to occupy more space than happy memories in my head. i try to think of good thoughts to rid of it. but at the end of the day, when all the good is gone, they're back again.. you just have to deal with it, i guess..

what happened in the past is something you cannot change. That fact you have to accept. The thing is you have to learn from it. See what went wrong. Dont be afraid to make excuses it is normal afterall, we have to love ourselves for us to survive. Then look forward to tomorrow. Focus on what you want to do and never look back. No use going back you will only prolong your agony. Look ahead.... there is more to the future...

You can't really forget about bad things... But there's a way of preventing them to come into your mind... It's all about positive thinking... Just think about correcting those mistakes you made... And you'll find peace of mind once you understand what positive thinking is all about...
