It's not that simple she has now made it a trust issue rather than an issue of love or forgiveness. . . If someone lies to you do you ever really trust they are telling you the truth ever again? It's like rust on metal, the mistrust or untrusted will eventually eat your relationship until it's dead dead dead!
Girl or guy could you live with a person you're not sure you can trust? Without love there is no trust and without trust there is no love! Can you have day without night, or good without bad? You answer for yourself. . .

I believe that cheating is wrong no matter who does it. If you do it you are wrong and depending on where the relationship was before and after depends on if you can trust them again. I think women have more of a guiltier consious then men do, so it bugs them more...usually. That is why most women and some men(yes some of us are still out here!) feel bad after they have cheated and are always going out of their way to make up for it. SOmetimes it seems like you are making up for this forever.

So, it depends on the situation. If you both believe you can move pass this and be faithful to each other w/o the cheated get revenge then go for it. If it seems that this will just keep hurting your relationship, then you both may want to think of the next step to take from here.

I am a man and I have never cheated on any women I made a commitment to, as that is what makes an intimate relationship significant. And, in the end the only things that is truly ours, (in that no one can take them from us) is ones word and ones honor.

You ask specifically about forgiveness if a lady who had committed to me betrayed me and our relationship the answer is sure I could forgive them.

Still, forgiveness aside I would find their ethics, attitudes and actions unacceptable and there just are too many righteous babes out there to waste anymore of my time on someone who had no honor. And, as I could never fully trust them again why waste both of our time and energies. Life is just too short to settle for a partner who is faithless.

As the saying goes screw me once shame on you ....... screw me twice shame on me!

So never would I ever commit again to someone who did not respect me nor our relationship enough to break up first before they gave into temptation.

There is nothing wrong with being tempted we are all human and those generally comes when we are at our weakest that's why we achieve so much spiritual and emotional growth when we overcome those temptations.

Hard to say. I guess a big part of it would be the reason. Some do it for the chase, in that case he might do it again. Some do it because they arent happy, in that case maybe he wont go it again. But its really hard to say 100% yes or no. I mean you could say once a cheater always a cheater but I think that those who truely wish to change can.

Well the truth is this 99% of men
will never take a woman back
if ever she is with another man
So if you truly want your man
Never sleep with another man
The series of bed hopping leads to loneliness
unhappiness and the loss of your soul

No - I don't think I would forgive her. I have never cheated on a girl and I would expect the same.

Depends on the situation. I also believe there are way too many people in this world to ask someone to be faithful to just one person. There is only so much of me to go around, so if my girlfriend really wants to, she can make her own decisions, as long as she is honest about it. There are boundaries and limits, though.

if the relationship was short term then no, there could never be a sense of trust and it would damage any future together.but if it were long term then I would consider it so long as we talked things through and were honest about it.
