Relationships are mostly based on compromise. You always have to meet halfway with the person you are with. You have to talk about everything and know where the other stands on every issue that involves the two of you. This way when you talk to the person you are with, you know what they want, what they like & dislike and you can do what you can do to keep them and yourself happy. It seems to me that alot of people just don't talk anymore. Everyone just takes stabs in the dark and prays that they hit the bullseye.(Please do not take any offense to this!! I am just speaknig in general!) That can not be healthy and in the end this is a reason alot of people brake up...

You can not force anyone to stay with you.. needless to say you want to always have open communication, respect, love and affection that is shared between the both of you. In addition you both need to put 100 % into the relationship. It doesn't work when only one puts in the work.

If a guy doesn't stay with you. It's because he doesn't want to. Try analyzing yourself and maybe you'll discover the answer that way. One of the hardest things in the world is to critique yourself. Something is causing them to not want to stay.

maybe there's something wrong with your age or your maturity and the maturity of the guys that you're dating. try to think of everything else other than having a boyfriend. you're too young for lasting relationships because i can sense that you're still immature... look for those when you're already mature and can handle a relationship. and dont choose guys who are younger than you.

Maybe your doing something wrong by picking the wrong man or your not doing something wrong in the bedroom or something. But you can't make a man stay with you.

you need to know what you want. to have a lasting relationship takes time and patience. It doesn't just happen. don't fall for the first guy and expect to perfection ...it takes time and compatibility

If you have to ask this question he's really not your boyfriend ...he's an associate. If you have to question yourself about him and do things to hold on you have to ask yourself is he worth it, or am I just holding on just to say i'm not alone?
