I would be leary of a peek a poo nowadays. They have become part of the 'designer dog' trend and are being overbred by puppy mills and backyard breeders. These dogs are being bred solely for profit which means that no genetic testing is done on the mating pairs and often the bitches are not given proper diets and vet care because all that costs $$$$. I'd much rather find a reputable yorkie breeder who has put time and effort into planning a mating, getting all health checks done and taking proper care of the ***** than roll the dice with a puppy mill dog.

Wow! I had a peek-a-poo when I was very young - 20 years ago - her name was Trixie. I havn't even heard of a peek-a-poo in years. I have friends with Yorkies, I'd take a Peek-a-poo over a yorkie even still today. I'll never forget Trixie. I've got a Shih Tzu now though that is my princess.

you are able to desire to examine the breed greater, and study greater approximately dogs. Yorkies want grooming, each and each month or 2, at approximately $40-50 in step with groom. Their hair in no way stops starting to be, it does no longer fall out or shed out. that's going to advance to the floor, yet you are able to no longer shop it like that except you wrap it, like for a coach dogs. puppies have long hair, they are no longer born with an fantastically long coat, besides the indisputable fact that it grows. by the way, a Silkie terrier isn't a Yorkie. Yorkies are black and tan, or tan/black/blue, and seven lbs. or below, they have a breed widely used you will discover on line.

I think it depends on the personalilty of the owner...both breeds are great, and they both need a lot of grooming. I like the peekapoos more for their fluffy coats...but they are both great breeds.

**WHY*** on earth would ANYBODY be fool enough to ADMIT they "prefer" a POS MUTT/MONGREL -ONLY made by CROOKS to SCAM the GULLIBLE-over a well-bred PURE BRED DOG??? That's V-E-R-Y STUPID.
