1 cup of butter (two stick) room temperature
2 eggs
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Blend these together well
In a seperate bowl mix together with a fork
1 3/4 cup of flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
Add to liquid mixture
Then add quick cooking dry oatmeal and your
chocolate chips. I add the oatmeal (at least 1 3/4 to 2 cups) until the dough is firm.
Drop by a tsp on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 in a preheated over from 8 - 10 minutes.

Drop Biscuits
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 stick butter (room temp)
1 cup milk
Mix dry ingredients with a fork in a bowl. Blend butter in and then add milk. Drop by tablespoons on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 for 10 - 12 until golden brown (light color). Makes about 12 - 14 biscuits.

Scotcheroos are great too
1 cup white syrup
1 cup sugar
Cook until it boils, stirring contantly on medium high burner. Remove from burner and add 1 cup peanut butter. Add Special K cereal (2 - 4 cups) enough to coat it well and turn this into a 9 x 13 buttered pan. Melt one package of butterscotch and one package of chocolate chips in the microwave together, stir until well blended and poor over cereal mixture. Cut while warm.

Hope you find this useful.

Usually they have recipes on products like Bisquick for cookies and buscuits. They have a recipe for cookies on the package of Nestle's chocolate chips and other brands of chocolate chips.

They sometimes have recipes on flour and sugar packages too.

I'm not good at baking anything homemade on my own. I have to go and get ready made mixes where all I have to do is drop eggs, water and oil in it.
I also get cookie or buscuit dough already in a container that all I have to do is cut them up or separate.

Buy your favorite cake mix.
Add two slightly beaten eggs
1/3c. oil
Combine all together till moist. Form into 1" balls. Bake at 350 for approx. 8 minutes. Depends on your oven. You can have almost any flavor you want. Frost with whatever frosting flavor you want.

Buy the dough and bake them. Pillsbury and Nestle both have a variety of cookie dough flavors. And you can by frozen biscuit dough and bake as many or as few as you need. It's really convenient and they taste delicious.
