So if someone told you that you had no choice in life would you just accept that? I don't accept what I see no evidence for. As far as I'm concerned if there is a deity I will find out after death and not before then. The only way to learn is to question.

So you are in favor of us all becoming mindless, spineless individuals because we just believe and accept and do not strive to learn more about the world and people around us?

If you so choose to more power to you.. however I choose continual growth.

Why shouldn't we question what's around us, and what we have as granted ?
A lot of people don't believe that there is any "God" at all, others have doubts, others believe that there is a God but have doubts on how to express their faith.

Just because you believe in God's existence, doesn't mean that the rest of the world is not entitled to question if God actually exists.

People question things they dont know much about. Others question things cause they disagree or dont understand. When it comes to religion there are several different religions and people have the right to believe in which ever religion is right for them. We should not judge others for their religion and we should not try to push our religion on others.

Some people are quick to judge others for what ever reason. Lots of people on here like to ask stupid questions on here or leave smart remarks instead of giving an answer.

The Biblical reason:
"Knowing this, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts..."
(2 Peter 3:3)

" Now the Spirit speaks expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, speaking lies in hypocrisy..."(1Tim.4:1)

Unfortunately not everybody has the same mind set as you. Not everyone believes in something that they cant see or feel, and to force them to accept the way you think is unfair and unjust. If you feel so sure of the presence of God then why would you feel threatened by questionning?

I've had ministers tell me questioning is good.

Beside this is not the GOD forum it is religion and spirtuality, hence Buddists are allowed here and they don't use the term God.

Jews are allowed here and they can't use the term G-d!

Islamics are allowed here and they know God as Allah

Atheists are allowed here (why, I don't know, they by ADMISSION have NO religion or sprituality) and they don't believe in nothing (I guess that makes them Zen?)

Agnostics are allowed here and they call their God Darwin (and I love taking him apart).

Questioning God is good for everyone to do, including people who believe in him. It's a good way to strengthen your faith--and if you can't take questioning God, maybe your faith isn't as strong as you thought.

The questions are okay. We each have to work through our own beliefs and decisions. How can we do that without questions? There is no commandment "Thou shalt not question."

Even you have questions, I'm sure. Don't be shy.

The questions are the opportunity for others to teach. Teaching strengthens our study and knowledge and helps us work out our own beliefs. Through questions, we sort out the wisdom of it all.

Ignorance is a greater fear than questions.

How do you expect to understand God if you don't think about him critically? Simply believing what the Bible tells you to believe is not enough. You must think for yourself about who God is.
