what are you people talking about???????? haven't any of you ever even read the Bible yourselves?????? If the Bible doesn't talk about dinasours then what the heck is the leviathen??????? It says that the leviathen had armor (scakes) all over its body, that spears could not pierce it and that it was huge. by the way, how often does the Bible explain every single creature that ever walked the earth. You say that dinasours are millions of years old, scientists have no basis for dating anything to be that old, it is a guess. If the earth was really millions and millions of years old they said that when we landed on the moon we should sink into the dust a couple FEET, because that is how much dust should have collected over millions of years. instead there was only a few INCHES. If you believe in evolution let me tell you something: it is a ridiculous theory. it states that nothing + chance = everything. it says that there was a large bubbling mass of gases and chemicals that exploded to bring us life. that's like saying that after a tornado rips through a junk yard that it will produce a brand new boeing 747 jetliner. doesn't that sound stupid!? Don't you know the 2nd law of thermodynamics? It says that everything is going from a complex state to a more chaotic state. that is a proven fact. but evolutionists say that even though the 2nd law of thermodynamics disproves evolution we still have believe that somehow it works against proven laws of science. doesnt that sound ridiculous!? biology proves that life comes only from life, then where does evolution fit in?

Bible is a spiritual book not an archaeological book. God asked Moses things that are only important. If God asked Moses to write everything that took place during the creation, don't you wonder how many page bible would end up and do you think Moses can finish writing it since the CREATION TOOK BILLIONS OF YEARS.

God created the world in 7 days. True. BUT, there were HINTS in the bible why should we not believe that the 7 days mentioned was human days composed of 24 hours.

Genesis 1:5 spoke about 1st day. How come that it was called 1st day when sun and moon was only made on the fourth day? The answer is provided by II Peter 3:8,:

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

BUT, never be mistaken about this passage. It says one day is AS a thousand years. It doesn't say EQUAL. So, what does it means? God never feel boredome. 1 day is as 1000. 1 is as 1 billion....and so on.

So, the days mentions in Genesis is not 24 hours..well, no one knows how long it was. Only God knows. (Isaiah 55:8-9)

In fact, SCIENTIFICALLY, day is relative. A day is different when you are in Earth, different when you are in moon, different when you are in Jupiter;....

Now, when was the dinosaur created? I believe that it was on the 6th day as written in Genesis1:24-25. It was also written that they were created before man.

The Bible doesnt state that dinosaurs lived millions of years ago.According to the Genesis account, animals were created during the fifth and sixth creative periods or "days".If the Hebrew expression translated "great sea monsters"(Hebrew, tanninim) includes dinosaurs, which often inhabited swampy, watery areas, this would mean that dinosaurs were created on the fifth "day"(Gen.1:21)
However,it is more reasonable to assume that the actual time of creation of the material heavens and earth may have been billions of years ago.

You have no bible to prove your statement. I have already answered this question 2 times, Once this morning just go back on the othet question about creation. But to get you started on studying this in Gen.1:1 In the beginning God greated the heaven & the earth2: And the earth was without form & void & darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Now in Gen. 1:28 God told Adam & Eve to REPLENISH the earth which means to fill it up AGAIN.. Now go back on the last question about dinosaurs, if you see my screen name, it tell you more. I never seen in the bible where you come up with 5767, I am presuming you are a Jew, well Adam & Eve dates back to 6000 yrs. So then if you don't belive in a Prehistoric period, you are still 233 yrs. off on your calculations. But there was a prehistoric world at one time Millions of yrs. ago.

Exactly where in the Bible does it say the earth was created 5767 years ago? I am a Christian and I believe the earth to be millions of years ago. I also believed that dinosaurs lived millions of years ago. They were wiped out by God to make way for humans and mammals.

At least two possible answers to your question.

1. Note in Genesis 1 how God defines a day; it is dnight the morning; not 24 hours. The sun was not created until day 4,not day 1.

2 The 'dinosaurs may have been here on earth, in man's presence, in the last 6000 years. Note two creatures; one Behemoth (Job), and Leviathon (Job and others books also; Proverbs?) It has been speculated that they were hippo's and crocidiles; but the descriptions do not seemto fit those animals.

i think it was a bit longer than that but it wasn't millions of years.

I believe when God created the universe he created the world he created it with an apparent history which makes it seem older than it is. (Adam eve, and the plants and animals were made fully grown) but i also believe that there were animals around even after the flood.

many animals became extinct during the ice age and many other times in history. there is no reason why this could not include dinorsours

trust God created the Dinosaurs many many many many many millenia before guy.. the precise age.. probable in the direction of thousands and thousands then thousands of years. -- yet what's a "day" to a non-linear diety like God who has existed for eternity??? 1st human beings are portrayed because the first Artists who rendered them had understanding of ways human beings appeared. OR probable how they appeared on the time of the fall. What they known like before hand.. isn't some thing the bible pretty tells us. Bible says God created Adam... replaced into there human beings before Adam.. it would not rule out this danger. The bible does no longer say "Adam.. who replaced into the actually humanoid existence to ever be created and appeared precisely like the human beings strolling the earth on the instantaneous in each and every anatomical way....." i trust the tale of Genesis is relayed in a non-literal, non-documentary form -- therefore it isn't attempting to relay clinical training. Bible = WHAT technology = HOW

Wow. The ignorance of many fundamentalists answers here is staggering. I can believe these people *want to* believe this nonsense about a now-extinct sea creature of 5000 years ago being a dinosaur, but I don't believe they actually are that ignorant. Most of them anyway.
