yes!! i got pregnant taking birth control on a daily basis, at the same time, with no interactive drugs, and also using a condom. NOTHING is safe except abstinence, so do what is best for you, but know that yes, it can happen to you, because I never thought it would happen to me either...im 18 and pregnant with a child the father (who i dated since i was a freshman in high school and thought he was mr. right)doesnt even want to accept. please think this through throughouly and be safe!

Jane, I think you should just wait to have sex. But if you are unable to wait. I would suggest that you consult your doctor about birth control. If you can't get a doctor, I would suggest that you use the pill, condom, spermicial lube, the rythm method, and withdrawl all at the same time. You can never be too sure.

After all, do you really want a baby with this guy?

Unless there is a med reason why your not on Birth control...go get some. there are many different forms and Condoms arent the best awnser...tho they do protect..they can malfunction....
Its the best way to be protected besides not having sex...always use 2 methods of birthcontrol...

It depends on HOW Much you DON'T want to get pregnant.

I always use two methods, or at least I did until I got my vasectomy. Condoms to break, and... usually you have to depend on your partner to apply them correctly... and in time.

"The PILL" also has some positive side effects like regulating periods.

If you absolutely don't want to get pregnant... it's good to have a second barrier. A condom is essential unless you're with a monogamous (and verifiability so) partner... who is already tested.

You must not be contreceptive to new ideas.

I find that sleeping on a pill is most uncomfortable and therefore I never go on one.

Condoms are not 100% and neither is pills or other forms of birth control...so if you do not want any babies right now then do not have sex unless you are married.

OMG, YES, YES, YES! ALONE EACH FORM IS ONLY ABOUT 98% EFFECTIVE. CONDOMS CAN BREAK AND THE PILL DOES NOT PROTECT YOU FROM STD'S, SO UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO RAISE A BABY THEN I WOULD SUGGEST WAITING TO HAVE SEX.

Of course you should. A condom can only help prevent you from nasty diseases, if it splits, theres a big chance of getting pregnant.
Better to be safe then sorry.
