can you blame islamic critics for denegrating mohomed? Read his life story and even a fool will realize that he could not have been a good man. Prophets of God dont sleep with 9 year old girls, dont kill people and dont keep harems filled with poor defenceless women. so muslims cant blame people for criticicing islam ok. mohomed is the poster boy for islam and what people see is what you get. if mohomed did not do these things no one would have criticiced him. no amount of lame excuses will redeem mohomed from criticism, and the only way to save mohomed is to prove that the koran is the work of islam's enemies.

Well, if you studied the customs of that area at that time you would soon realize that it was common for women from all tribes and religions to get married at that age, that includes the Jews and Arab pagans. Another point to take into consideration that women in geographically hot weather areas hit puberty a lot faster than women from colder areas. The reason why prophet Mohammad married Aisha (and no he had no harem) at that young age because he intended for her to become a teacher to the muslims after his death (and everyone knows that when it comes to learning the younger people are the better they learn). This was the intention with Aisha because after Muhammad's death she lived for many years (since she was younger) and she was by far the best teacher of Islam after prophet Muhammad. Aisha became a great resource of information and knowledge to muslims for many years after her husband's death. So there for all of those who criticize prophet Muhammad, first of all never judge someone who lived over 1400 years ago by today's standards, and second of all think outside the box...why would 1.4 billion ppl in the world follow someone if those criticisms were true. I mean no amount of brain washing or force can generate that many followers.

If the Muslims studies the bible they would realise how wrong they are, G-D would reveal himself to them in a way they could not dispute. And marrying a nine year old girl is disgusting and perverted, I don't care what century it was, he was a paedophile. I think their 70 virgins they kill them selves for are also 9 year olds, and that is sick thinking. Their all children, can you imagine having a child and 9 years later she is married and being raped her mind and body is not developed at 9 years old, and the reason they married that young is because some (man) some where, decreed that is the right age and that man was also a paedophile. In some parts of Iran they still do that.

He did not "sleep with 9 year old girls, kill people and keep harems filled with poor defenceless women"
He married a girl of 9 years old, which at that time was the age around which girls married.
All his other wives were either widows or divorcees.
If he wanted to keep a "harem" of women as you state, would he not have chosen virgins?
The Quraan is the word of God revealed to Muhammed (Peace be upon him).
If you bothered to read and understand both the Quraan and the life of Muhammed (Peace be upon him), then you would realize how wrong you are.
