before that have been haunting me for several months. It seems like maybe they are looking for forgiveness but I dont believe that is something given by anyone but God, and yourself. I think we can seek to understand each other but something is wrong psychologically in my opinion if you feel like you need forgiveness from someone other than God or yourself

Seriously, I'm curious if there's anything I can do to get them to stop bothering me. It's unlikely the idea of ghosts would still be around as prevalantly if no one had ever seen any

Theyre not actually manifesting, as in seeing them with my physical eyes--it's the same as if you think about an apple with your mind's eye except the effect of them flying around about 12 ft above my head is like if you cant stop thinking about a pink elephant, except them seem to have independent motion

Ghosts are troubled souls who can't cross over to the light. They are either heavily been burden with guilt or hatred. From your story it's possible it's guilt nature. They must made to understand that they must learn to forgive themselves and let go in order to move on to the light. God has always been compassionate. He forgives even you're not asking for it. So the problem is really that the ghosts must learn to forgive themselves and let go of the guilt. I am glad you're not scared of seeing a ghost. I never in my life wanted to see one. Too scared.

Leaving out a shallow dish of red vinegar makes it harder for them to manifest themselves. Make sure there are not deep pools of cold standing water nearby as this is a good 'anchor' for them. Running cold water, on the other hand, is a great hinderance to them. If you start hearing voices or having visions, running cold water over your head and back can help. Contact ghosthunters from the sci-fi channel TV show. Do a web search of paranormal researchers in your area.

There are no such things as ghosts. Once your dead you cant come back. What you seeing is Deamons. There trying to scare you. Fo and see your pastor and have him come to you home to pray over it. And you keep praying for God to remove them. Make sure that you have no grounds for them to be there. Such as any occult objects. If you do then burn them and repent of your sin.

Those are not ghosts---they are demons. Pray Psalm 23 and they will go. The devil and his consorts cannot stand that psalm because it is a direct reference to Jesus. It has worked for me many times when I have been under spiritual attack.

sylvia brown will tell you to tell the spirits " you are dead, go to the light, you are dead and must pass through now, go be with your loved ones who are waiting" blah blah, yeah i am pretty sure thats why my house ghost left

The only thing you can do is tell them (out loud) that they have been welcome and it is now time for them to move on to the light. Tell them you are sending them away.
