my 10 month pomerian dog eats every junk he finds but no food.he ate a bandage yesterday.pls help!!!!!!

When dogs eat stuff that is not food it is called "pica". It can be very dangerous to your dog. Our dog died because of eating small rocks from the driveway - we didn't realize she was doing it until it was too late. No one seems to know for sure why dogs do this. Some believe it is because they are bored or looking for attention. Another idea is that there is a nutrient missing from their diet or they are anxious or stressed. Sometimes it begins as play and then becomes a habit. Our dog was very old and not well in many ways so it might have been related to the fact that she was generally just about ready to die and not behaving normally.
We found these sites really helpful in learning about pica and they gave us ideas about preventing it in any dogs we have in the future. I hope this helps.

First off make sure you get hi to the vet to make sure no blockage has occured. I dont like crate but It sounds like your little man needs on to help in training. Feed him a little in the morning and a little at night to sustain his appitite and get him on a shedule. He also needs some good stimulation...get a few toys and team him tricks and to fetch and things like that.... the smaller chewys are good to to keep his mind off things. Smaller dogs have a more hyper attitude and stronger willed too, so you in for a long road. Crate him when you are not home with a chewy or a toy, praise him when your home and feed him asap. You are going to need at least 45 min a day to "wear him out" then mak sure you clean up the "junk" laying around. Night time training either in your room ( with door closed)or the crate would be best also.

Sounds like you need to dog proof your home. Having a dog is like having a kid. Only sit his food out for a short time, then put it away. If you hide all of the other stuff, he'll eventually get hungry and eat.
I wouldn't leave food out all day though.

you must give it meat always so it will always eat the meat and find it any time, so it will stop eating junk

oh my god Nicks! I think it is bcause of stomach upset or maybe u can go to a vet.
