No you're not too old! Ponytails are in fashion. Depending on how you style it, ponytails can be sophisticated.
You see people on the red carpet with elegant ponytails, with jewellery in their hair to set the look.
You could build your hair up at the crown and loosely sweep back the hair. Or maybe leave strands of hair around your face for a pretty look. Ponytails are not just for the young.
If you bring a nice hairband or ribbon into your hair aswell it will make the hairstyle look unique.

I'm 39 and wear one most of the time. I did recently cut about 8" off my hair - making it only about 12" long now. As long as it is becoming to your face, I don't think a ponytail is bad...and, trust me, at 35 you won't be mistaken for a schoolgirl unless your face is in REALLY good shape!

i think it's fine wearing a ponytail whatever age you are. I mean if you were wearing 2 pigtails on each side of your head then that would be mistaken as a schoolgirl look but just wearing a regular ponytail well everyone does that no matter what age you are.

Never too young or too old to wear your hair the way you like it.
Have the confidence to shrug off the odd bad comment (look at their hair).
I'm a bloke, had a ponytail twelve years ago, then grew it again and had a ponytail for another couple of years, my hair is grey when short but not so noticable when long.
Be confident and sod the rest, be an individual.

My aunt is 32 but she often wears a ponytail. It looks great on her because she has deep brown eyes.I don't think that your age should be an obstacle. Its quite possible that they will bring out your face features. And when I see a woman wearing a ponytail the thought that she's too old for that never crosses my mind.
I hope I was of some help to you:)

You are never too old to wear a ponytail! If it is keeping your hair out of your face and keeps you from being to hot in the summer, or if you are just more comfortable wearing your hair like that, then there vreally isn't an issue. Besides, from a mans point of view, I think they make a woman look sexy..... I Love It when my wife puts her hair up!

Don't worry- the ponytail is not a hairstyle only for teenagers! As long as u think that your face is "in good condition" keep on wearing ur hair like that. You will know best when to stop. Plus it reveals the beauty of ur face alone!!! I think it's great!!

I am really putting my head on the block here.(no pun intended)
I am completely bald (shaved). However , I see grey "crinkly hair" guys with pony tails. Perhaps at 35 it is not so bad , but I see guys in their 50's and 60's doing it. Maybe it's me but I do wonder about this "image ". Personally , I think if you are pulling your hair back into a pony tail why not just have it cut to create the same effect?
