here's my big question for the day
Woo im getting a labrador puppy i'll be away until 8 pm its a 4 hour round trip i live in Belfast and i'm driving into the heart of ireland.

I want you to suggest the best names you can think of for a golden labrador i'll read them when i get back thanks

Sorry its a dog and sorry I said golden i stand corrected its a yellow labrador :P
Anyway he hasn't a black nose he has a brwon nose and browny green eyes and gorgeous.

GOLDEN Retriever
YELLOW Labrador Retriever.

If you are going to get a dog the least you can do is use the correct name of the breed!

It's little things that irritate.

Now that I've got that off my chest I'm sorry I can't help you to name your pup until I know whether it is male or female.

Hope he or she settles in well.

P.S. I like Bailey which has been suggested.

I was just about to say, Belfast to the midlands and back in two hours... in what a helicopter!!!! 6 hours sound a bit mroe reasonable though!!!


I'd go with Irwin, someone suggested it and my idea was Simba until I read that. Love Simba for labs as they are very proud dgos but irwin for the day that's in it is a bloody great idea!!! Give that guy 10 points!!!

I like the names Stinky, Simba, Mojo, Shamane, Jake, Mitsy, Jade, Shelly, Patch, Barney, Princess, Daisy, Buddy, Cody, Talisker Tally for short, Bo, Lady, Jessie, Lassie, Goldy, Butch, TJ, Missy. I hope these names help I have names neally every dog I can think of in my whole family lol.

Id call him Paddy, its my grandads name or Annie if its a girl, that was my nans name, these are the names i will be using early next year when I have planned to have a new dog.

For a girl I love Apotchi or Echo.
For a boy, Maple or Shadow are nice.
It really all depends on your dog's personality, though.
