Don't call her short. Petite is nicer. My daughter was born 2 1/2 months premature, and yes at nearly six she is still tiny enough in build that most people mistake her for 4. She does notice it, but shes lucky that people just tell her shes cute (and she plays on it too!) My sister never got past 4' 11" and shes gorgeous ,happily married and accomplised. This is not an issue.

Make sure she's getting the proper nutrition but beyond that, don't worry about it. Height is a genetic gamble. I'm not even as tall as my mother or grandmother. It's just how it goes. She should learn to accept herself for her own height.
I actually like being short. I had tall friends in high school that hated my height because I was shorter than any boy I could possibly date and they had trouble finding dates for dances because the boys wanted a girl who was shorter than they were.
Being short can be great. Don't sweat it.

Don't worry. My daughter is 10 years old and 5'2. Her dad id 6'5 and I am 5'8. It has a lot to do with genetics. Plus you should be happy that she is not to tall. Teach her to be proud of who she is. The rest will come later.

Give her foods rich in vitamins and minerals. There are food supplements with vitamins available in the market, give her according to her age as prescribed by doctor. Try to engage her in some sort of sports to stretch her muscles and makes her active.

All you can do is hope that she will have a growth spurt when she is a teen. This does happen.
It happened to my sister, who was often mistaken for being much younger than her age. When she was about fifteen, she zoomed to normal size in less than a year.

Height is controlled by genetics. You can take her to the Dr. and make sure that her growth hormones are at the appropriate levels. If they are O.K., there is nothing that you can do. If they are low, they can give her the growth hormone.
