I just bought a loaf of wonder bread. Will it go stale quicker if I leave it out or put it in the refrigerator?

It will go stale quicker outside of the fridge. If you plan on having eaten it in 3 days, leave it out. If you bought many loaves, then refirgerate some of them, or freeze them. Bread usually lasts 3 to 5 days outside the fridge, but then it starts to grow green fuzz.

Some people refrigerate their bread and some don't as a matter of preference not preservation.

I'm sure Wonder Bread has enough preservative in it no matter where you keep it.

it will go stale faster in the fridge, if you have a recipe for "day old", or stale bread, you should put it in the fridge for a day. T hey should sell half loaves for those of us who don`t use much bread!

It will stale faster if you leave it out. Refrigerated, it should last a LOT longer.
I buy regular "Oven Fresh" bread, and it stays fresh in my fridge for weeks, while if I leave it out, it goes MOLDY in about one week.

No your bread does not go in the fridge(that will only make it worse), just make sure that it is tightly sealed. the only real way to preserve bread is to freeze it

It should go in the refrigerator. It does go bad faster leaving it out.
