What is the difference between the microwaves used in microwave ovens and those used in GSM or CDMA?

Power level is the biggest difference. A cell phone uses very low power, a microwave oven is typically a thousand watts or so.

Also the Microwave oven frequency is tuned to be absorbed by water the best. Whereas GSM or CDMA are at a frequency that does not interact with water as well.
