We have to write something for our varsity psych newspaper and need a fresh topic to blow away the students' minds. Our deadline is near, and we want something bigger than the usual. Any suggestions?

U could write about the influance or rage & how student deal with it. The world is full of people that like to go around & push peoples buttons. How do you deal with ur temper when it starts to rise & don't want to commit a crime or kill someone.

It may be overdone but eating disorders on campus (a survey will reveal many surprises) you could also match that up with personality type and interests (you'll find a correlation) and what people think caused their eating disorder

psychoactive drugs and their effect on the brain for instance a 'newer' fad is a plant called Salvia which can be smoked and is legally sold in the USA which gives a very trippy effect similar or more than mushrooms depending on how much is smoked.
Also study the link between similar drugs like mushrooms acid lsd and the mystical effect they have on people's minds and lives and how their life may be changed since their incident with it or their views on religion

its definately overdone, but being a person who has borderline personality disorder i think that there can never be enough info on it. you could do an artice on how much this particular disorder is stigmatized in the professional feild.
