No. That's my answer. It is not a power trip to please a man if your goal is to please him. Now your own reasons for doing so might differ. You might be the type of personality defined as "A Giver". You derive personal enjoyment and happiness knowing you've given something to another or made someone else happy through your actions. It may also be that you also feel pleasure knowing you gave it to another. It may be psychological, emotional or physical pleasure you feel after doing so. Or it may also be a feeling of dominance and control over another through your skills. That would be a power trip. If your sole reason and enjoyment in giving another pleasure is so you feel superior or in control, then that would be a yes. But...either way....two people are walking away feeling better. So how could it be bad nomatter how you slice it?

Lots of ways of wanting to please a man. Doesn't mean you're a control freak. Many pleasers enjoy being quite submissive and placed under control. I know some that just luv being able to look upward as they perform to see what effect they are having.

If more people were like that maybe there would be less divorce rates and more marriages.

You already know; it's called payback. If you do good he will reward you with some kind of trinket. And when he does you good you feel that you must outdo him. "power trip" is one deep hard plunge.
