well for starters, buddhism was created by gautama buddha, who was known as SIddharth.. he came frm a kingly hindu family n left his family seeking truth.. he is not only regarded as god by the buddhists, but is also seen as an avatar of lord vishnu, one of the three supreme powers of hindu kingdom..
jainism founder, mahavir, too, was a hindu and is given tremendous respect in hinduism.

yes we know that , buddha left the palace and hindu teachings. Finally he found the way which the buddhist think will be the ultimate cure for the pain or suffering through out our entire life.
Buddha is a man , not a GOD.
Buddha left hindu teachings because they are different and different way of practice. Some are really good ( I dont know to define good ) some are very stupid. Still this hindu religion is in India. So many different techinques. And different casts.

well they will say that its the branches that bear fruit ;)

for your information Vedic culture is much different from Jainism and Buddhism.
In Vedic Literatures it is mentioned that teaching of lord Buddha is actually another form of Athism.. The purpose of such teaching is also mentioned

That is the reason, Sankaracharya was asked to remove Buddhism out and bring back vedic culture.

I dont think there is a thing called Hindu or for that fact Hinduism. You are very misinformed. It is far better to talk about DHARM, or dharma.

There are many ways (dharm) to break the cycle of birth and re-birth and thus attain SAMSARA or NIRVANA. So there are different paths to the same destination!

Buddhists could be Hindus or Jains (or Christian or atheist). Buddha grew to become into as quickly as asked concerning to the life of god and he refused to respond to. His justification is that his coaching is barely fascinated concerning to the relief of suffering. notwithstanding if god exists or not neither creates nor removes the suffering that exists and consequently isn't interior the scope of his coaching. i'm much less familiar with the traditions of Jainism yet from the acquaintances I even have that are Jain i would not evaluate it the comparable as Hinduism. of direction Hinduism is style of an umbrella term for the worship of many deities yet it is yet another question for yet all over lower back. To me this question is like asking if Christianity and Islam are religions or in the event that they could desire to all be referred to as Jews. Jesus grew to become right into a Jew, Buddha grew to become right into a Hindu. using fact a convention arose from yet another custom does not recommend it would not stand via itself advantage.

Yes , I do. You forgot Sikhs. ......................Hinduism is like a Banyan tree. Too many branches, all of them are just branches yet they are also roots separately......Main tree is still called the Tree, but as it grows older, number of these branches keeps increasing.
