I have a 97 Nissan Maxima after I got rear ended I got it fixed basically When it rain minute amounts of water get in the trunk. I mean you put a suit case in there if your going to the airport but its enough water that the spare got rusted and I had to thrown it away.How much should I deduct from asking price

Go get a estimate, then go from there.Go to drugstore and get a red book,it will tell you what the going price,would be.They have different categories for the condition of the car.

Did you Claim this accident with your Insurance Company?
If Yes, call them up and inform them that it was not fixed correctly.
If No, bring it in to a local Auto Body Shop and get an estimate.
What ever the estimate is, deduct it from the asking price.

Chris, go to bluebook.com or type in blue book on search and you will get there, it will give you all the facts, you type in the year model 2 or 4 door the equipment etc, and it is for buying or selling has all the years from new to really old. Good Luck!

That's good of you to be honest about the problem. Sounds like you need a new rubber gasket, which would probably cost $200-$300 to fix.

You could find the leak and fix it, or punch a hole in the spare tire well so it drains out (be carful not to punch a hole in the gas tank!) Just make sure you sell it "AS IS"

thats so minor I wouldnt deduct anything from the price. I agree its a gasket or something minor.
