if you are unattractive and you know it and a kind and good looking guy starts to treat you real well and wants to go out with you and you know that it isnt for your looks but he is just doing it out of pitty. say...if the guy would stay faithful to you and kind of over protective due to your insecurity.would this hurt your feelings and would you go out with the guy?

This is not rescuing....a man rescues a woman when he feels that she is worth it.... out of pity.
I don't think any guy should do that out of pity, it is an insult and will hurt her more in the end. Be honest and rather be her friend untill she finds someone who will love her whole heartedly.
He sounds like a guy with a good heart....keep him as a friend

It would definitely hurt my feelings to know that the person is not in love with me and that he is only going out wiyh me out of pity. By the way, what kind of a stupid idiot would do a thing like that?

if it is sweet and romantic then yes but not if it makes the girl look totally helpless. we dont NEED men but its nice to have them when they know how to treat you the right way so be a hero not a showoff
