NO, this question is not from a caring housewife. This question is from a mocker. How stupid do you think we are, atheist?
Duh.
BTW, macro-evolution is merely a hypothesis. It has not been proved as a theorem. It also takes a measure of faith to accept!

there is not something incorrect with a spiritalized faith interior the story of our first mothers and fathers. There are gaps everywhere in the introduction account. the full technique might have taken one hundred billion years. God might have used Adam and Eve through fact the line He could save His supplies with the aid of. The Bible seems to agree that have been have been many different around on the time. Cain went off to the land on Nod and found a spouse and had a relatives there. The sons of God (Adam's boys) observed the daughters of adult males that they have got been truthful... Like I mentioned there is evidence for that tale... Jim

Understand first that the Bible is a compilation of writings, letters, stories, etc., compiled by man with the goal to unify the various Christian religions with some common beliefs. A group of men gathered and chose which writings, letters, and stories to include, and which ones to exclude. Some believe that the Dead Sea Scrolls are some of material excluded from the Bible.
Many people literally believe that God wrote the Bible, and this just is not the case.
Having said that, why do people not consider the possibility that God put evolution into motion? After all, according to Genesis, God did not create the Earth and all of the animals in one day. He spent seven days getting things set up the way He wanted them. Once he finished, he took a break. Perhaps what passed for a day for God constitutes several hundred or several thousand millennia for those of us on Earth.
When you think of both sides of the issue in those terms, both sides win without compromising their deeply held beliefs. Of course, it takes an open mind to consider religion and science in such a manner. We all know that some religions selfishly believe that their religion is the only true religion, thus eliminating them from the “open mind” pool. At least scientist look at religion, consider the history recorded, and test that history against sound scientific principles. The trick is getting both sides to come to some type of accord.
I know that did not answer your question precisely, however it gives you a platform to use to teach that science and religion can coexist.

You must be "LyourAO" here!!! I'm amazed at how many of the posters DID NOT READ THE QUESTION!!! I'm also amazed that the Creationists do not provide any links to scientific evidence for their version of "the truth" (they can't as their isn't any), how many people are here just "promoting their agenda" that has nothing to do with the question, how many people are telling you that you must accept God's love or that you will burn in the fiery pits of hell for eternity, and that ALL of the people that say that evolution is the "work of Satan" do NOT understand what evolution REALLY says (that we all probably came from a common ancestor and NOTHING about the existence or non-existence of God!), and completely deny even the existence of the fossil records, not to mention a modern understanding of how DNA works that makes evolution a "slam dunk"! So, as you are drinking your morning coffee or doing whatever it is you are doing I just wanted to say this: I am LMAO right along with you! An absolutely BRILLIANT question! LMAO!!! Keep up the good work, and THANK YOU!!! :)

Does it really matter if we evolved from monkeys or were created from Adam and Eve ? I say not. I say what is most important it to teach the love of Jesus, it is not so much where it came from or if it really happenend. What is important are his teachings . I would not try to hide evolution, just let your kids know it is a theory ,it is someones idea. I think you can believe in both to a degree. I think this world is such a beautiful place, so perfect-how could it not have been designed? But I do believe the fossils work against the Bible. I don't care, my children know the love of Jesus and know they should love thy neighbor as thyself. They are also going to know about the scientific theories. I think it is good for children to ponder the world around them. Someone has to fix it!

If you don't want your kids to learn about evolution have them home-schooled or send them to a private christian school were they don't teach evolution. But even with all your efforts your children will eventually encounter evolution. So perhaps maybe you should tell them about it before they heard it from someone else, just like sex or drugs.
P.S. An atheist is someone who doesn't believe in God because there is no proof or doesn't believe any evidence could ever prove God exists.

You are sad, but I think you will be worse off when your children feel that you lied to them during their formative years. The only question that needs addressing is very simple...was God's Hand there when life began? Evolution does not deny God, it is simply how you believe that God created man. Did he do it in a flash or over a period of eons? Life progresses...even the computer you use is not the same as five years ago...Did God create that germinal cell that led to all of the life in the world. The Bible says that God created man....but is there a time frame....you assume that within 6 days all was finished....this is an interpretation of stories to glorify God, showing miraculous powers but what is a day in the terms of infinity. Many in the Bible lived long lives....but wait we know that men's lives are finite and they exceeded the longevity...so are their years wrong?.. There is too much evidence to prove the evolutionary progress of animals and man and a lie is not the answer.

Evolution is NOT a reality, it is a lie from satan. Adam & Eve evidence is true. If evolution was a reality, then answer this question, why did all the other monkeys & Slim pit muddy pond species did not evolve today, did they forgot that if evolution is correct, That they forgot to evolved. The Bible was taken out of the schools many years ago, therefore creating a vaccum, That vaccum had to be filled with something, when people kick God out of the schools, they just let in satan. Now in some schools they are FORCED to learn about Islam, I know this as a fact. This demonic teachings of islam is now being taught at some schools now. Thnik about it.

BE SIMPLE AS A CHILD.
it seems to me that a child will love a good story.
If you tell the A+E thing as a story of love and confusion then the whole thing may just sound like an interesting puzzle.
They "ll have a life time to work it out for themselves. You can just let them know that I haven"t figured it out yet either. I'm 74 !

The theory of Evolution and the notion of a Loving Creator are not incompatible. Why insist your children believe an ancient and venerable myth in contradiction to a logical and lucid scientific theory?
Creationism is bad theology as much as it bad science.

I love science very much every since I was a young child but I've always been very religious also. Both are very fascinating and each compliment each other, I use one to help understand the other. I also believe some people evolved and others come from Adam and Eve, When Cain was banished he was worried about the others, the ones that were evolving here.
