Growing up I always thought that it was wrong, but now I'm having second thoughts and have to admit to doing it more than once -always protected of course!. so... what are other peoples thoughts on this?

I did get attached once, but then I did it again and I didn't get attached at all. I think I'm just waiting for the slutty feeling to kick in, to feel like a tart or something... but I don't! I admit that I would like a monogamous relationship, though most guys I meet don't know the meaning of the word.

Nothing wrong with casual sex and the right way to go about is well protected. If you feel comfortable this way you stick to it and the right person will come along sooner than you think.

It is your decision, really. If you feel bad, or guilty about doing it, then it's not for you. I find in fun and invigorating and above all, I get what I want without the whiny-boy relationship. ALWAYS be safe when doing so, but other wise, enjoy it, have a good time and don't let anyone else tell you something is right or wrong (in this regard)
Sex is a personal decision.

Well Im married.....However I will say that today things are alot different then they was 50 years ago or even 30 years old. Casual sex is not so forbiden any more. It used to be sex should not happen till marriage while there are still people who believe in that lots are all for casual sex. What ever works for you is fine.

You were right it is wrong. Eph. 5:5, "No fornicator or unclean person or greedy person-which means an idolater-has any inheritance in the kingdom of the Christ and of God." Fornication means sexual intercourse between unmarried people. Its ok that you have slipped and made a mistake. God hates the act but regardless still loves his children. You gonna let Satan win if you don't turn back and its not a victory over God its a victory over you.

I dont disagree with casual sex at all. It depends on the person though - I find it hard to emotionally attach myself to anyone anyway so it suits me. I dont feel slutty and my buddy is a friend with benefits and he still respects me.
Times have changed!!

It can be exciting... but how do you feel afterwards. And how will you feel when you do meet someone you truely care about down the road? Sex is supposed to be more meaningful than that. I don't think you'll regret NOT sleeping with a bunch of guys later in life.

You say "always protected" so on a physical level I don't see any problem at all. Have fun - try everything that makes you and your casual partners feel good. Just watch out that you don't start to feel bad on the emotional level - enjoy yourself.

We are jealous people.
If you have no qualms about your loved one having had sex with other people before, and you are sure that you will not think about your spouse's other partners' sexual performance.
Then go ahead and have casual sex.
But I will feel insecure, I will feel jealousy.
There will always be the "What ifs" each time I have sex with my spouse if I know that she had sex with someone else before. What if the sex we have is not the highest intimacy level we can attain?
So if I hope for my spouse to have sex only with me I will want to respect my spouse by only having sex with her.
What about you? Do think twice.

i think what people do is their own business, how ever i for one can't do the casual sex thing... wish i could but i just can't bring myself to.... i just like to really know a person i suppose...
but for the people who can... all the power too them but i know allot of people do it for the wrong reasons
the least amount of time i've been with a person i've had sex with is a year.... don't get me wrong it wasn't after we were together for a year... but we stayed together for a year
other then that it was 3 years *-)
sad i know but what ever lol i'm old fashion about some things
