Interesting point. what you are really asking is: should they sniff glue or retard their brains.

If they sniff glue (or take other "hard" drugs) they are clearly mentally inadequate and non-survivors. The fact is they will probably die and it's no loss to society. The alternative in your book is to indoctrinate them with ridiculous notions about gods, devils and the rest. The result is very similar - brain death. Not clinical brain death but and intellectual stultification which again makes them truly worthless members of society.

I'd rather my kids were'nt sniffing glue and also were'nt in the pedofile infested catholic church reading a violent book called the bible which promotes slavery and teaches that eveyone must be punished for one mans mistake.

I'd like my kids to read about Darwin, learn science, visit museums and use logic rather than blind belief.
I want my kids to learn compassion and not kill any living creature including animals.I suppose religious compassion doesnt extend to animals.

Glue sniffing should be a mandatory subject to prepare them for the real world. Many canines have landed fantastic jobs due to their sniffing abilities. I say train them to sniff everything glue, narcotics, explosives, panties…

Sniff, Sniff, Sniff… Is it just me, or does this question smell just like azz?

Nothing quite like taking two extremes in asking a question.
I believe at the moment the world is a horrible place to bring children up in, however if it was to happen I would show my children everything the world has to offer, both good and bad, and let them decide for themselves as competent human beings. as a parent you can be a guide in your Childs life, but by no means are you a dictator in their acts and their beliefs. they are yours only for a little while, and to treat them like animals, training them in the ways you think, is disrespectful to them as well as to the free will that 'god' gave them.

I would rather experience the truth, reassuring the love of Jesus

What kind of question is that? How about:

Would you rather your kids took herion or practiced piano?

Would you rather be split from head to toe, slowly, or follow a macrobiotic diet?

Which is better, being disolved in a vat of acid or appointing a personal trainer?

I've never experienced the reassuring love of Jesus...and I've never sniffed glue.

That is rather preachy, and to be honest, you can't make kids be good by telling them about jesus. It's not for you or I to tell them what they should believe. They should come to their own conclusions when they are old enough to understand each religion in it's own right.

That's a ridiculous question! Glue sniffing kids, yeah just what society needs! We need it as much as we need religious fanaticism!
