I don't think meats, fish, etc. need to be increased or decreased. Just stay away from bacon, lunch meats, etc. because they are high in sodium. Anything with preservatives is going to be high in sodium.

You don't necessarily need to stay away from or increase your intake of meats. Just pay attention to how they are cooked. There are a lot of alternatives to sodium for flavoring foods these days, just read the labels of the products that you buy. It would be a good idea to stay away from things like bacon and lunch meats, also check the labels on whatever soups you eat, they're surprisingly high in sodium. Again, just read the labels, and you'll be fine.
