My boyfriend of 9 months has a habbit of breaking his promises. He'll say he'll quit doing drugs, but soon after he makes that promise he's back to smoking (This has happened countless times). He'll say that he'll never do this or that again, but he continually falls back on his word. He's even admitted to me before that he sometimes just tells me what he thinks I want to hear in order to get me to shut up.
I've tried communitcating with him thousands of times, but he always walks away, seemingly without remorse...and then an hour later he'll come back to me acting as if nothing happened.
This is driving me nuts--what do I do?

Give him the decency and do it head to head. Maybe pass with a buddy for aid (even supposing he/she stands a couple of ft in the back of you whilst you supply the scoop) and inform him matters aren't understanding and its for the fine that you simply each cut up up. Another thought is, if you do not desire to make it last you might have holiday for your courting in the meanwhile and spot how matters pass. Hope this is helping!

why hesitate, just break your ties with this rotten man who doesnt have any principles in life, foremost is honesty and truthfulness that makes a gentleman and ofcourse it is always reciprocal. i just cant imagine how can you be friendly with a person who had already indulged in drugs etc, he has a low morale and character, leave him and be happy by indulging in good social activities and pursue your career to become a nice and wonderful person. you will soon get a handsome life partner with a healthy mind.

First and foremost, find out where his companionship lies; is it in the company of those who engage in such act? if that is the case u need to work on encouraging him on type of company he keeps will tend to lift him or pull him down if he does not make his determination to keep promises coz DETERMINATION IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS in anything we want to do. So, dont relent, keep ur good work on him.

My advice: Don't ask for advice. Do what you feel is right, not what others think. It's your relationship, not theirs. So follow your heart, and if you feel like you should break up with him, go for it. If you feel you should stay with him, go right ahead. What ever your choice is, I'm behind you 100% of the way :)

You need to decide if you are worthy of being with a man that loves you, respects you, and is honest to you.
Once you decide you deserve all of those things you will know what you need to do--he's a loser and he needs to be kicked to the curb.

stop pressurin him! givin up drugs is a hard habit to quit. (i kno that the hard way) (and lol no its not me who on it) and besides if you met him while he was doin it and u fell in luv wit him while he was doin it, then y would you try to change him, if you really care 4 him you'd give him the time and support he needs, and if he really cares 4 you then he'd realize that hurts you and try to quit so either dont do nething stupud over a habit that hard 2 quit
