People seem concerned with fun, as if to say the journey to christ is depressing, its not.
Jesus said 'come as you are.' and he promised to show himself to us, its a beautiful thing. I have had so many experiences and God has bee So Good and still is. I love the Lord daily and am learning to ,more and more. People seem upset i'm not a joker, i've had moments i have felt like a killjoy, but i am happy, i'm not depressed. Whats happy to you......?

It is funny that jesus said "come as you are", because that is when i am often the happiest.

If you're happy, and you KNOW it, clap your hands!
It seems like, when you have faith, your outlook on life is brighter because you feel that you have something to look forward to. This is a good thing! A positive outlook on life and what comes after can only be good for your health and happiness. So, if you're lucky enough to be wired for faith, enjoy it. I still have fun at times, am not religious and probably never will be.
You don't have to be laughing to be happy. Being in love makes me happy, but I don't necessarily feel the need to laugh about it.

Happiness is not just laughter. It is peace and contentment. It is that knowledge that, whatever I am going through, it will all work out. It's confidence in God's love, protection and guidance. It's a calm delight in nature and the people around me. It's wonder and thankfulness.

Yesterday I took the dog to the beach. The sea was really rough and there was a bracing wind. There was hardly a soul there. As I walked along, being blown everywhere, I felt really happy.

am i happy when i am laughing? sometimes no but more often than not i am, sometimes i laugh with friends, because i don't want them to see i felt alone inside. i am happier when i have peace of mind & when i have God in me & even happier when i learned to forgive & forget... i love to make jokes it makes me happier to see people smile. happy to me is knowing my children are safe and loved and wanted, an inner peace with the world, no longer looking for anything because I have it all.
