I will attempt to answer that, but not in the context of Luke 9:25.

The question is materialism: what good is great material wealth in the absence of a soul? Or in the destruction of a soul? The answer, of course, is no good at all. Materialism does not work because it is not true: the material world is not all there is.

However, having said that, please remember that the interpretations and symbols used in the spiritual plane are different for different people. The passage from Luke speaks volumes to a Christian, but is not relevant to someone who is not a Christian. The idea that only Christians have souls is, of course, nonsense.

benefit: the wrong word

then it means you r seeking something in return:
the principle was simple if your ego is so elevated that you wish to conquer the whole world- well litterally immpossible as your own presence doesn't exist in the space of where you live, is for sure, belong to anyone. so how can we say that i have overcome such prowess and signifies somethings beyond your understanding the state of such ego, mean you have blinded all the doors to allmighty and seeking your reall true purpose to return to allmighty to grace is no footstep as the state of ignorance would have conquered and will need to work a long way to return to inner journey. that is the true
essence and divinity, everyone strive for

Have a nice day

Nothing if you contrast the benefits of gaining the whole world to gaining the Kingdom.

You really need to learn how to read the bible.
The verse says: What good does it do for people to win the whole world but lose their lives by destroying them?

It doesn't benefit you or anyone if they are destroyed. Its basic. In other words, seek the things that benefit the soul and not your own self.
