You're doing fine, just don't drink the day of your test, and avoid all specifically prohibited drugs. Alcohol doesn't stay in your system long-term, unlike marijuana, and some other drugs which you don't want to have showing up in your urine. If you have been ordered by a judge not to consume alcohol (it really should be none of their business so long as you don't get behind the wheel, but unfortunately they can do this, because the substance is regulated and you are under probation), don't get caught imbibing, or purchasing alcohol in public! Cough syrup has some pretty strange drugs in it along with the alcohol, so avoid this. Red Bull, Monster, etc. contain a sh&twagon full of caffeine and sugar, which are nothing the law has ever regulated. Just make sure it doesn't have alcohol too (i.e. El Loco), if you are prohibited from drinking at all, and you are about to take your test. How long with alcohol depends on your individual bodily metabolism, your body weight, and how much you drink. In high school driver ed I was taught that the typical adult (and I suppose it was presumed an adult male of height 6') can metabolise 1 ounce of alchohol per hour. Unlike the threshold for DWI arrest, this still holds true today. There is about one ounce of alcohol in one shot of liquor, 1-1.5 ounces in 1 12-oz beer (light beer has less, but not that much less), and the same goes with a typical serving of wine. If you have three drinks, you will need to give it at least three hours before the alcohol is gone, and then you are OK for anything. When you get your license back, the above is the basis of a good rule to live by, as it has always saved me from DWI arrests. If you are drinking, and you are to drive later, make sure you plan enough time for your own metabolism, and you will not blow any alcohol if you get stopped in one of those unconstitutional checkpoint dragnets. I remember the first time I got stopped in one, and was dumb enough to answer "yes" when asked if I had anything to drink that night. I was subject to a breathalizer, but I got to enjoy the irritation on the cop's face when it came out negative and he counldn't make an arrest!

Look dear, light wine contains 10-15 % alcohol &heavy wine 40-50%.fatty foods delay absorption, maximal blood concentration is reached after 0.5-1 hour.About 80-100cc produce toxic manifestations & about 200-300 cc of absolute etheyl alcohol consumed in 1 hour r fatal.90% is metabolized by the liver,10% excreted unchanged 5% in urine & 5% in breath.Elimination of alcohol takes along time as it follows zero order kinetics i.e elimination of fixed amount irrespective of drug conc.but be optimistic if u have consumed a small amount if alcohol it will follow 1st order kinetics i.e elimination of fixed % Will it appear in urine or not will depend upon some questions.R u a chronic alcoholic or it's the 1st time?Did u ingest a large amount or small?Where it light or heavy wine? And lastly I'll tell a way hasten getting rid of alcohol in ur body, pyridoxinei.e vit B-6 & fructose increase metabolism of alcohol .Look dear u have to stay away from this toxin.Yes it is a toxin it causes liver cirrhosis on the long run, brain atrophy and many other problems.I hope I could help.

the body (liver, actually) normally processes alcohol at about the rate of one drink per hour. So after 33 hours, there is likely no longer a trace of alcohol in the urine.

no, just think about 1 hour 1 beer. Your body can process 1 beer, or any other alcoholic drink per hour. So, if you had 10 drinks then 10 hours.
