why are you scared? It's sweet that you acknowledge you're in love. But only if you're afraid of hurting her feelings.... But good on you- you can't let he know you're scared- women like to be protected not be scared with the men!!! :)

The reason you are scared is because you have transferred some of your identity over to her.
For example, you really like her - now if she doesn't like you that may destroy your confidence.
Having your confidence destroyed is something I can understand you being frightened of.
What you need to do is affirm the belief that you are a valuable & unique individual - and while it would be nice if she loves you back, your value as a person is not conditional on this.
Having said that, it is easier said than done.

Is she muscly? I think that you should consider some martial arts classes. Don't let the women bully you. We are the dominant half of the race!
