Someone said that happens when God wants to decorate Heaven so he picks us up like flowers when the time is right. A childlishly simplisitic question but I still want to know 'cause it just doesn't make sense. We need good people more on Earth than he needs them in Heaven. He's all right by Himself but truly good people are a bliss. Anyways, I just got really sad at finding out about Steve Irwin's death and also, years ago, about Alyiah's.

Different reasons. I like to say the good die young because
they were good. And God let them come home.
If you accept that we live more than once. There are lots of
explanations. Maybe someone took the life of someone elses
child in a past life. So they have to lose theirs to make up for it.
They say sometimes it's a test. To see how fast someone will
curse God. Don't we love Him when everything is going good.
And curse Him the minute things get tuff?
Sometimes spirits come to this world knowing they won't
be here long. To teach their loved ones patience.

I agree with you and I feel the same. But we will never understand God's ways it is just far above us. Remember His ways are not just for now it is for things that is yet to come so we humans tend to think only on the now and the present and forget that there is a future where things must go on.

My Dad died young. I asked myself this question many times and came to a conclusion. It wasn't about me, it was about him.

I saw him grow so much in the week before his death, he faced it with grace and courage. The last lesson he gave me was the best. He was ready and said he was going to meet the Lord and shake his hand.

I like to think he grew so much that this world couldn't contain him anymore and he had to move on and Jesus reached out to take him.

It's a reward, not a punishment.

Dying has nothing to do with being good or bad. for everything there is an appointed time. It is what a person does with the time he/she has that matters.

And since no one really knows how much time he/she has it's best to do good all the time. so, if your time comes while you are doing good, then it's all good!

The decorating heaven thing's not true.

Actually it's more like when someone dies they become a saint all of the sudden.
I don't understand why people deny someone's faults when they die. The faults made them human and they made them great. I thought if you love some one you are supposed to accept their faults not pretend they don't exist.

Death does not differentiate, it is only that when a good one dies he/she gets more publicity and people feel for him/her but when a person supposed to be Bad dies he/she gets negative publicity and people feel that he/she is punished for his crime. God needs all and cares for all there is nothing to shield. Good or Bad both are the creations of God, so nothing special for Him.

NO! God said with long life shall I satisfy you. If God wants us to die young then Jesus should not be healing the sick. That will be against the will of God.
