Riff don't be so confused about the question you do ask. Jesus is God [Jn1:1] says '' In the beginning was the word [Jesus] and word [Jesus] was with God and the word [Jesus] was God and nothing was created without Him''. In Isaiah 9 [Whole of it] the Bible '' He shall be called Emmanuel [God is with us], the everlasting father, the mighty God, the prince of peace and the wonderful counsellor. If u think that He is not God you are making a very big mistake for He is God.

Yes, Jesus is part of the Trinity (The Godhead) there's God the father, Jesus (the son) and the Holy Spirit) Jesus says He's is the son of God, and God confirms in New Testament Matthew 3: 13-16 / when Jesus was baptised he went immediately from the water and the heaven's were opened and he saw the spirit of God descending like a dove..and a lighting on him.. and lo, a voice form Heaven saying" This is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased" This was seen by John the Baptist, who did ot know Jesus was the son of God until after he saw Christ come up out of the water and the spirit descend on him..(THis can be found also in John 1: 29-34

Jesus is part of the Trinity. God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. If you believe in Trinity, then you won't have trouble believing that Jesus is the Son of God, because in John 14:6 He says, I am The Way, The Truth and The Life. No man comes unto the Father, but by Me. What more do you need? These things cannot be proved by scientific methods. You have to believe as an innocent child believes what its parents say. That's why Jesus said the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to people like that.

Hello!! :o) As far as I know - Jesus never actually SAID, "Hi - how are ya!! Oh by the way - I'm GOD!!"

So I have chosen to respond to your question by referring you to 1st Timothy 3:16

"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."

Take from that what you will.

As I see it - and believe it - God became man. And that man was Jesus. Have a great day!! Craig!! :o)

Well look at it this way, John 1:1 "In the begining was the Word, and the Word was God and the Word was with God" now that doesnt really make any sense does it? exactly because that is too hard for any mind to comprehend for any mind to grasp at all really, not even the angels. So what God did to help us and the entire Universe understand this concept is He made man, as a symbol to represent Him. Now in the begining God created, he made and formed man and breathed the breath of life into his body. Now then it says that he put Adam into a sleep and made the woman from the mans rib, now he didnt breathe life into the woman because life was already in the woman because the woman was a part of the man. Now this can be looked at as the same was we look at God Jehova and Jesus, see Eve was a part of Adam right, and Eve was Adams voice, thats why the serpant spoke to Eve instead of Adam because Eve was Adams voice, now this represents God by the fact that Jesus is Gods voice because Jesus was the Word, see the serpant spoke to Eve then she spoke to Adam, the same way we speak to Jesus and He speaks to God the father for us, see its hard to grasp so if you have mroe questions just ask :)

I'm aware that jesus said: I and the father are one. yet he contradicts himself when someone asks him: good master, what should I do to inherit eternal life, and jesus said: why callest me good? none is good, save one, that is god. "Luke 18:18 - 18:19".
To me this clearly says he wasn't, and above all I don't understand how could anybody believe that a human being can be god for god's sake.. but any way, I think jesus was a little confused about the whole thing..

Oh, probably not. But I can tell you Jesus DID say:" I and My Father are One". Perhaps i could state Jesus as a substitute of God. God is so Holy that our sin could probably dirty Him, so God sent Jesus as a Human to die for our sins... If you don't get it, or if by any chance I'm wrong, forgive me.

Jesus put his face on the ground and prayed to God. No doubt you will get the usual John 1:1 etc....yawn!

the trinity is the teaching of the trinitarian church that defeated the early unitarian christians. the trinity is born out of greek and roman methology.

NONE of the prophets EVER mentioned the trinity. Read what christian scholars say, that the trinity can not be found in the bible, but actually has its roots in the teachings of the church

Jesus was not here to promote himself, he promoted God the Father and it is God the Father that gives Jesus the title God.

You can find this in Hebrews 1:8
But unto the Son [he saith], Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness [is] the sceptre of thy kingdom.

It is God that promotes Jesus.
