i wouldn't say that relationships in the office are bad but with an inferior?have you ever thought that he might exploit you in some way?it would be okay if it happened with someone in the same level with you.however, you should wait and see how it is going and then take your decisions. but please do not let everyone know and of course do not ask your boyfriend to keep it secret.probably he will tell everyone that he is f**** his superior.sorry but this is true.... and do not think that he is different than the others.just keep your eyes opened.

I have to tell you that having a relationship at work is just asking for trouble. Didn't anyone ever tell you this before? Did you miss that meeting that talked about this sort of thing and especially with someone who you have some authority over or vice versa.
With the sermon out of the way, I can tell you that even though we are told it is wrong, it is often difficult because we see these people every day and it is often difficult to just ignore the feelings of closeness that one often gets when working closely together, sharing the ups and down, successes and failures of our job. From my own experience recently, it is taking everything I can do in order to just remain professional and "friends" with my pretty co-worker who seems to open to the idea of being more then just friends. I have to do this because if I let it go further, it could end bad for us and the stakeholders in our organization could be hurt or upset.
One final word... rumors will get you no matter what you do or where you work.

Depending on company policy....it may cost you your job. And if it doesn't work.....will he sue the company for sexual harassment. Girls do it all the time and if you are in a position of power over him, strong likelihood he will win. And how will your boss react to that?
It's hard enough for women to get respect in the workplace....how will your co workers and supervisors react and what will they think of you?
What happens if it doesn't work out? Will the two of you be able to work together afterwards?? Will co workers pick sides? Will that cause tension....will it distract from work getting done. Will people, including you and him get fired?
And lets say everything is great....do your really want to see him all day at work then all evening and all night. that's gonna get old really quick.
I never "fish off the company pier". Work and dating should be kept seperate. It's not worth the headache.
Food for thought....

NO! because you WILL get fired if they ever found out.
They want your mind on your JOB not in your coworkers pants.
Sex in the business world is frowned upon. I know a few people who got fired for inappropriate questions/flirting on the job.
