a guy ive known for only six months and been with twice .on two occasions has put his head on my chest and wanted me to hug him. like you would a child or baby.this type of hugging makes me feel like he is really needy or has no experience on how to take control in our situation.i felt like a mother holding him like that whats your take on it ladies any thoughts or am i the only one who feels this way, i like it when a man takes the initiative to hold me first and make me feel safe and this was vice versa, does a hug say alot about a man, i dont know if it matters or not but hes twenty and im twenty three.

I've never done anything like that before, but you MAY have hit the nail on the head. But you have to ask yourself if hes being needy, or is he just wanting to be that close to you.
Maybe he wants to be "Closer to your heart...." or something. I know I have this issue with love, and I need to feel that love with who I'm with. Being close to a womans chest may be the only way he can confirm that you love him. But is that the same thing as being needy?
This is what you do. Put him in various situations (IE like having him choosing a table in a resturant, or straightening out a screwed up order or something) to find out how strong he is. That will tell you if he is weak or not.

mabey this guy does miss a motherly hug and its what he needs but you should be able to tell him what you like too im sure he will listen and think about it.we alwaysshould tell our partner what we need.
