The fact that the women tend to like them is the main reason why the men tend to hate them. As the British said of American soldiers during World War II: they are overpaid, over-sexed, and over here.

I don't think people hate soldiers I think it's mainly stereotype and jealousy. I applaud you for going to protect our country in foreign countries and being fired on. Keep it up.

It is because of their "so called reputation" if only they knew that squaddies are reasonable family based people.

i dont ,i think they r fab and doing a brave job and shouldnt be hated.also you look very sexy in the uniform,i have a VERY good friend who is a squaddie....
