If u use outlook/outlook express,
1. You just write a message by clicking on new, attach or insert the image file if u want
2. Send it to one or more of your email addresses!
else if u r using a webmail like yahoo, login to the website with your username & id, repeat the steps mentioned above.

Can you elaborate?? ..Coz posting a question here is also sending your message that you achieved already. If you are referring to emails then sign up for yahoo mail, gmail or hotmail. if you are looking messenger services to chat then again sign up with msn, yahhoo or skype. Hope that helps!
