I think the Armenian Christians do.
You offer money don't you. And prayers.
And the temple was not destroyed until 70 AD.

If i would just slaughter it to eat it and thanking God for it when I kill it, wouldn't that be considered a sacrifice?

NO

God does not exist.

By all means kill the lamb, but to eat it - not for some pointless ceremony.

Animal sacrifice was a pagan ceremony. A person lets their
negative spiritual energies enter the animal, which is sacrificed,
and the spiritual energy is released. Many still perform this
ceremony.
Isaiah said in about the last chapter, "He that sacrifices animals, is like cutting off a dogs head." Or something like that. An
abomination.
Scripture says without the shedding of blood, their is no
remission of sin. But blood is a symbolic term for ones
personal spiritual power. It says somewhere in Hebrews,
"You have not yet resisted unto blood."
Hebrews also says that is why Christ had to die the way He
did. Because that was how things were done on the Earth.
Jesus actually purified all these negative energies man had
dumped in the spirit world.

It's not just Armenian Christians. Large parts of the world engage in ritual animal sacrifice. In my opinion, it's an example of all that is wrong with religion as a concept, but hey - I'm powerless to stop it.

I don't like saying it but if a person is sacrificing an animal in as humane and painless a fashion as possible, and in keeping only with their religious requirements, I guess I have to stand back and say 'different strokes for different folks'.

Being tolerant is difficult sometimes. But I'm not a vegetarian, so I can't preach too loudly.

There is one God, not every religious ceremony done to a god is done to Him. God doesn't need anymore ceremonial sacrifices. Jesus was the Lamb of God, who died to free us from performing sacrifices to God. Any other sacrifice to God now will be mocking what Jesus did for us & amounts to idolatry because God Almighty doesn't recognise it, therefore bringing His judgement upon the one performing the sacrifice. Jesus was the Ultimate Sacrifice.
There is nothing wrong in giving money, it is an act of sacrifice not the sacrifice itself, compared to killing an animal.

Of course it would. It's even described in the bible.
Forget these idiots who think somebody else can pay for your wrongdoings. You and you alone are responsible for your own actions. The Jesus freaks would have you wallow in all sorts of silly superstitions and try to convince you that they're right - of course they would 'cos to think otherwise would force them to realise that they're gullible, thick, clods.

By the way, don't forget that to impress God, it's got to be prepared properly. Serve on a large platter surrounded by roast potatoes and lightly sprinkled with mint sauce. Side dishes could be vegetables according to taste, bread sauce, gravy and, to follow perhaps a well beaten fool.
Of course, if it's an indian god you want to placate, I'd suggest dhansak or bhuna. If it's an indian devil, then Bangalore Phall.

I don't think that it is right to sacrifice a living thing to God. even God won't like that you killed someone created by Him

well, no it is not right for you to sacrifice a lamb anymore, u see Jesus was the sacrifice to all of us, so if you sacrifice a lamb you are showing that you do not accept the sacrifice that Jesus made for you, which is disrepectful to Gods divine will, so i would strongly suggest that you dont
