Before she worries about what to tell him, she has to make some decisions that she can live with first. If she doesn't want to have a baby, there are methods of birth control that are "almost" fool proof. If she doesn't want to be in the position of making a life-or death decision for her unborn child, she has to take extreme care to make sure that an "accident" can't happen. She should get information from her doctor, or local Planned Parenthood, to make sure she is taking the necessary precautions. As far as her boyfriend goes, once she's made that decision, she just needs to explain to him how much heartache having an abortion was, and that she'll never do it again. It's up to both of them to be careful, if he loves her, he'll understand and wont want her going through that again.

If she's on birth control and got pregnant, then she needs to go to the doc and get a stronger scrip and watch the the antibiotics while on them. They'll lessen the effectiveness of the birth control.
All she has to do is tell him she isn't gonna have another abortion should she get pregnant again. Through she may want to rethink that decision because birth control can cause major birth defects.

Im 19 and married, I would suggest you tell her that she needs to sit down and talk to him and tell him that she will not have another oboration again and why that is. Also explain that she is on birth control. If they cant agree on that then they should find someone new. Likewise he haves made it clear he dont want to have kids right now in his life. So she needs to respect that, he is smart by using protection even with her on birth control. Everyone knows birth control is not 100 %.

She let him slide once. If he's responsible, he'll accept the second child.

But on another note, she should'nt have given up the first one!!! THAT WILL BE A PAIN THAT SHE WILL DEAL WITH FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE. Why is she still with him? Is he more important than her child!!???

The more important question she should be asking is why did she choose him over the first baby. Why did he make her make a choice that she didnt want to make. Only somebody like......Jesus should hold that kind of weight.

If she's on birth control pills or is using an IUD she won't get pregnant again.

If he really wants children with her and so does she then maybe they should sit down and have a heart to heart conversation then come to an agreement for family planning.

I think she should just tell him. Aborting a child is heart breaking, and if they do get pregnant and he can not respect her decision to keep the child then he is not worth having as a boyfriend.

She needs to be straight up with him from day 1. If he doesnt want to have protected sex with her, she needs to bag him. Killing you unborn child is a horrible horrible thing to do, and its worth loosing a bf over it. If it happends once it can happend again, not only are you killing your own child, your ruining your insides. He's obviously not mature enough to relise what he is doing. If he really loved her and cared, he would wear a condom.Your friend is doing a good thing by using birth control. Good luck with this nad god bless.

She needs to be open and honest with him. If she is on birth control, she needs to have her dose changed, because it is not working. And if he can not understand that she will not go through another abortion. Then she does not need to be with him. They need to set down and talk about all of it. and day she will regret having the first abortion. She will resent him.

Sounds like he wants his cake and eat it too! Straight up and honest is always best!

I don't believe there is a nice way to tell him if he is dead set against you having a baby! There is an old saying, " When you play you pay" It seems no matter how careful you try to be, things happen!

arent you ashamed that you are asking this question on your friend's behalf. you as her good friend, should have advised her to discontinue such relationship. anyway, your best friend should immediately stop this kind of impure relation with a man who doesnt have any morality at all and misusing her for his dirty pleasures. rather your friend should concentrate in her career right away and involve herself in good social activities, helping others who are in distress and desperate need. at such a young age, i am shocked, that your best friend is going to hell. better late than never, tell her to become a nice human womanbeing and keep herself and make others happy by her serene behaviour to the surprise of one and all.
