Actually some Christians have not, but you pc pagan crowd don't dare because it would offend your sensitivities, the old pagans would laugh at you.

Neo-pagans is a recent term, and so we have not had to "give up" blood sacrifices; most of us have never done them.

There are, however, magical acts that involve blood. Usually just a very small amount, used symbolically, and it need not cause pain. But sometimes people do more than "prick a finger" for magical purposes. I have never been involved in one that required more than that of me; I'm a coward. And I have only ever seen it done completely voluntarily. Frankly, I don't think it is necessary.

I don't because I'm afraid some wacko will have me investigated if I do. Alas. My Gods demand the fat and bones of a sacrifice and the human participants must utilize the skin and meat. The blood is gathered for use in magick spells. Unfortunately, because I have neighbords, I am unable to perform this particular act of worship. Oh I could simply give the bones and fat from the meat that I bought at the grocery store to the Gods, but I believe it is immoral to eat any animal you did not personally kill, or at least witness the death of. Therefore, I am a vegetarian.

Mostly because it's duecedly inconvenient for most people. Most apartments these days won't even let you keep a cat, let alone a cow or some chickens.

As with most people, today's meat-eating Pagans generally get their meat in sanitized, styrofoam-packed bundles. As such, other routes need to be taken - the giving of non-blood offerings, for example.

Christians haven't. Thats why they enjoyed The Passion of the Christ. It was a 2 1/2 hour blood fest.
