Over the past couple of days, I have had quite bad pains in my feet. Around the heel and ball of my foot, each foot in the same areas. As the weather has changed considerably over the past couple of months I assumed it was down to the change in footwear, sometimes wearing scholls, sandles, trainers, work shoes etc. Does this sound logical or could there be other reasons for my pain.

It could be because your carrying alot off weight around sorry, theres alot off pressure to the body when people are over weight, the knees and backs suffer the most with pain and discomfort.Or it maybe the shoes you are wearing,go see your gp he may refer you to the appliance dept in your local hospital they have products for problems like this, you will have to pay and be referred thou.

You don't say how old you are, after 30 years your arches start to fall, by some scholl segs to raise them. Bad posture surprisingly has an effect. Also pressure on your feet from driving in soft shoes.

I think it's the shoes. I once had a pair of black shoes that I wore for 11-16 hour shifts. on both feet, half of my big toe went numb for months, even after I stopped wearing the shoes. now, if I wear them for even a short time I'm reminded of how bad they are for my feet!
try trainers or hiking boots. also try putting gel insoles into your shoes, it makes them a lot more comfortable.

It could be heel spurs or plantar facitis, I have it, and it hurts to beat the band! When I get up in the morning, I can barely walk, it's stiff and hurts.

your pain is not related to weather. If you 35+, it is a common disease. Better consult Ortho Surgeon.

if it continutes contact your gp....if you are diabetic, dont leave it go to your gp immediately...it could be footwear, different footwear make syou apply pressure in different areas....they could be many reasons as to why you have sore feet....soak them in tea tree and lavender oil....
