I have found that the best use of a blender is to use it to make margaritas.

Make gazpacho
mix up salad dressings
puree soups
replace it with a stick blender
keep cooking utensils in it
plant basil in it

blend every type of fruit juice or smoothie you could desire . they also mix a mean margarita !
